An all-inclusive corporate retreat in Marrakech costs, according to our budget calculator, about €250 to €420 per person for two days and one night in a four-star hotel, €440 to €800 for three days and two nights with a party at the hotel (four-star, 30 to 80 people), and €900 to €1,510 for 30 people in a five-star hotel with an evening in the Agafay desert, flights excluded. But “all-inclusive” has no fixed meaning: every quote puts what it likes behind the word. Here is what a retreat package usually contains, what it almost always leaves out, and three sample packages priced for 30 and 80 people in four- and five-star hotels.
What does an all-inclusive retreat package actually contain?
A serious package covers everything between landing at Marrakech airport and flying home. In our pricing model, which uses the same lines as our online calculator, that comes down to seven items:
- accommodation, in single rooms, per night and per person;
- the working day: meeting room, breaks and lunch;
- AV: sound system, projector, microphones and a technician;
- dinners on nights without an event;
- the evening event, with dinner, exclusive use of the venue and, outside the city, coaches;
- activities and entertainment;
- transfers to and from the airport and, where needed, local transport.
The model adds a 10% contingency on top. Ask whether the package you receive includes a similar buffer, and where it shows up: in the headline price or in the final invoice.
What does an all-inclusive package almost always leave out?
Our calculator states it for its own estimates: they exclude flights, alcoholic drinks, tourist tax and organisation fees. Those are also the first four things to look for in any competing quote.
- Flights. You or your travel agent book them. A per-person price that does not say whether air travel is included cannot be compared with anything.
- Alcohol. Our estimates leave it out. Check whether wine with dinner, an open bar or a welcome drink appears in the quote, and at what price.
- Tourist tax. Our estimates exclude it too: ask whether it is included in the room rate.
- Organisation fees. Ask whether they are spread across every line or charged separately: the per-person price means something different in each case.
Three more items are worth checking: lunches on days without sessions, which are not part of a working day; activities that sit outside our model, such as golf, a hammam, a photographer or welcome gifts, which are quoted separately; and personal extras such as the minibar or laundry, where you need to agree who pays. To compare meal formats, see our guide to corporate catering in Marrakech and prices per person.
What do three sample packages cost for 30 and 80 people?
We priced three formats with the same model as our calculator, in four- and five-star hotels. Every figure includes airport transfers and a 10% contingency, but not flights. Totals are rounded to the nearest hundred euros, per-person figures to the nearest ten.
Package 1: two days, one night
Two working days with AV, one night, one dinner. This is the format for a team meeting or a kick-off: arrive early on day one, fly home on the evening of day two. It relies on early outbound flights; the time difference helps, since Morocco stays on GMT all year, the same time as London in winter and one hour behind in summer, and one or two hours behind Paris.
Package 2: three days, two nights, hotel party
Two working days with AV, two nights, one dinner, a party at the hotel with a DJ and a team race through the medina. It mixes work and a shared activity, the most common combination for a retreat: sessions on days one and two, the party on the second night, the race on the morning you leave.
Package 3: three days, two nights, Agafay evening
The same base, but the evening takes place in a private camp in the Agafay desert, less than an hour’s drive away, with coaches, and the activity is a Moroccan cooking class. Local transport is included for two days.

What the table tells you
Hotel category matters more than group size. Moving from four to five stars adds about €120 to €200 per person on package 1 and €210 to €340 on package 2, for 30 people. In our model both the room and the working day cost more in a five-star hotel, and that premium repeats every night and every day.
A bigger group barely lowers the price of a simple package. For package 1, the cost per head is almost the same for 30 and 80 people, because nearly everything is charged per person. The AV allowance in our model actually goes up from 50 people.
Evenings outside the city favour large groups. Hiring a camp in Agafay is paid once, whatever the headcount. As a result, in a four-star hotel package 3 costs €690 to €1,170 per head for 30 people and €560 to €930 for 80. For 30 people in a four-star hotel, choosing package 3 over package 2 (an Agafay evening, a cooking class and local transport instead of the hotel party and the medina race) adds about €220 to €370 per head, roughly as much as upgrading to five stars.
These are indicative, non-contractual ranges. The real price depends on the dates, the season and the exact programme, and only a quote settles it. For the general structure of prices by hotel category, see our seminar and team building budget calculator. What your company can and cannot reclaim is explained in our article on VAT for company seminars in Morocco.
How do you compare two “all-inclusive” quotes?
Two packages at the same price per head can have nothing in common. Before comparing, bring them to the same basis with these questions:
- How many nights and how many meeting-room days are actually counted?
- Are rooms single or shared?
- How many breaks per day, and is lunch served every day?
- Does AV include a technician present during sessions?
- Is the evening venue exclusive or shared with other guests?
- Do transfers cover the airport only, or local transport as well?
- Are alcoholic drinks, tourist tax and organisation fees included?
- Is there a contingency, and what happens if it is not used?
The simplest way is to send the same brief to every supplier and insist on a quote broken down line by line. Our RFP template for comparing event quotes is built for exactly that.
Which package suits your group?
For a team meeting or a small leadership group, package 1 is enough: most of the time is spent in the room, and a dinner in town provides the shared moment. For an annual retreat, package 2 strikes the right balance between work and team time. Package 3 makes sense when the group is above fifty or so, or when the evening is the moment you want people to remember: our guide to corporate events in the Agafay desert covers the logistics.
Group size also shapes the venue. Above about a hundred participants, the capacity of the plenary room becomes the first filter: our article on retreats for 50, 100 or 200 people goes through it by headcount.
Finally, the season. High season in Marrakech runs from March to May and from September to November, and season moves the budget far more than the choice of activities. In 2027, Ramadan is expected to start around 8 or 9 February, give or take a day. Our guide to the best time for a retreat in 2027 helps you place your dates.
Frequently asked questions
How much is an all-inclusive retreat in Marrakech?
Based on our model, allow about €250 to €420 per person for two days and one night in a four-star hotel, €440 to €800 for three days and two nights with a hotel party, and €900 to €1,510 in a five-star hotel with an Agafay evening for 30 people, flights excluded and 10% contingency included.
Are flights included in a retreat package?
Not in our budgets: flights are booked by you or your travel agent. We then fit transfers and the programme around your flight times.
Why can two packages at the same price be so different?
Because they do not count the same things: number of meeting-room days, single or shared rooms, exclusive or shared evening venue, alcohol, tourist tax, organisation fees. Bring them to the same basis before you compare.
Is a two-day, one-night package realistic from Europe?
From Paris, yes, provided you take an early morning flight out and an evening flight back. The flight takes a little over three hours, and the time difference gives you back one or two hours on arrival.
We build retreats where every item is priced separately, with one contact across Paris and Marrakech and a team on site from the first day to the last: see our corporate retreats in Marrakech, estimate your budget with the retreat and team building budget calculator, or ask for a free quote with your dates and headcount.
