For adventure-park team building near Marrakech, the main venue is Terres d’Amanar, an estate in the Atlas foothills about 40 km out along the Asni road, near Tahannaout. It offers forest ropes courses, several zip lines including one of 320 metres, an introduction to rock climbing, archery, e-mountain biking and hiking, with a dedicated offer for companies. In the city itself, Palooza Park, a family theme park, sells an “adventure pass” covering a ropes course and a zip line, which works for a late afternoon after a day of meetings. Allow at least 45 minutes by coach to reach Amanar. Transport can be costed; everything else is quoted by the park. This guide explains what each park offers, how to run the day for a group, and why we have not listed other places.
Which adventure parks near Marrakech are worth considering?
We have only included parks whose existence, activities and group offer are confirmed on their own official website, checked on 14 October 2026. Two venues pass that test.

Why no other venues?
Search further and you mostly find excursions resold by booking platforms: “Atlas zip line”, “nature and adventure park 30 minutes from Marrakech”. In the second case, the description matches Terres d’Amanar point for point: it is the same place sold under another name. For the zip lines advertised in the Ourika valley, we found no identifiable operator website. We would rather not point you to a provider whose existence, safety standards and contact person we cannot verify. Lalla Takerkoust lake, about 40 minutes away by car, offers water sports, but it is not an adventure park.
What can a team do at Terres d’Amanar?
The estate describes itself as suitable “for families, friends, couples or colleagues”, and its corporate page explicitly lists seminars, incentives, challenges and team building. Activities fall into two groups, which makes it easier to build a programme for people with very different comfort levels.
Off the ground
The forest adventure courses take you from tree to tree through a series of challenges. The “Berber Jon” course has eight challenges and two long zip lines of 275 metres. The introductory climb is on a 10-metre rock face, which is also where the estate’s longest zip line starts: 320 metres long and 110 metres high.
On the ground
For those who would rather stay on the ground, the estate offers archery (open to children from 6, according to the site), e-mountain biking, horse riding, walking, riding and cycling routes, trail running with group sessions, a pool with games and table tennis, and a craft village. A play area takes children from 4, which helps for a family day.
The estate also provides accommodation and meals, and notes that the food is prepared by Berber women from the neighbouring villages. It does not publish group prices: everything is quoted on request.
Palooza Park: which groups is it for?
Palooza Park is first and foremost a family leisure park in the city. Its “Pass Aventures” covers entry and one go each on the ropes course, the jump tower, the “Monster tower” and the zip line, at a public price of 69 dirhams per person, read on the park’s website on 14/10/2026 and to be reconfirmed. The park advertises a corporate offer with tailored packages, group rates and private areas.
It is worth considering for a playful late afternoon after a working day in town, since it opens at 4pm on weekdays, or for an event that includes employees’ families. It is not a nature experience: if the goal is to get the team out of the city, Terres d’Amanar is the better fit. As the park is open to the public, ask exactly what its “private areas” include if you want time among colleagues only. The published hours do not mention Mondays, so check opening before you set a date.
How should you run the day for a group?
Here is a sample day at Terres d’Amanar for 30 to 60 people, built around the park’s published opening hours of 10am to 5pm.
Morning: departure and teams
Leave Marrakech at around 9am by coach. The estate quotes a 30-minute drive; by coach, allow at least 45 minutes from the city centre. On arrival, park staff give the safety briefing and fit everyone with equipment. Split the group into mixed teams that rotate between a high-ropes activity and a ground activity: while one team is in the trees, the other does archery or e-biking. Rotating avoids queues at the start of each course.
Lunch on site
Eating at the estate saves a round trip. Collect dietary requirements in advance (vegetarian, allergies) so the group menu can reflect them.
Afternoon: a shared challenge, then home
The afternoon can hold a team challenge, a short walk or free time at the pool, depending on the season. The estate says the last activity tickets are sold at 4.20pm: for a group, get your booked time slots confirmed in writing rather than relying on walk-up sales, which the park handles “subject to availability”. Plan to be back before dark: the French foreign ministry advises against travelling at night in Morocco, and from November to January the sun sets between about 5.30pm and 5.50pm. In winter, leave the estate at around 4.30pm rather than at closing time.
Safety
On the courses, technical supervision is the park’s responsibility. For the high-ropes course and the Berber Jon course, an undated poster on the park’s website gives a minimum age of 12, a minimum height of 1.45 m and a weight of 45 to 110 kg. Ask the park to confirm these and the requirements for other activities (clothing in particular), along with its insurance certificate, and pass them on to participants when they sign up. Everyone needs closed shoes and clothes that cover arms and legs. Work-accident and insurance questions are covered in our article on safety and insurance for team building abroad.
Which season works best?
In Marrakech, the average daily maximum exceeds 28°C from May to October, and 33°C from June to August. France’s occupational safety institute, INRS, uses 28°C as a prevention benchmark for physical work. A ropes-course day, which takes real effort, is therefore best placed between November and April, or concentrated in the morning during the hot months. Even in the forest, plan water and regular breaks. Winter brings mild days, around 19 to 21°C in the afternoon in January and February, but cool mornings. March is the wettest month of the year, so keep a fallback indoor activity.
What does an adventure park day cost?
Our calculator does not include park activities: they are priced by the park, based on the activities chosen, group size and lunch. What the model does cover is one day of local transport. Figures are rounded to the nearest hundred and include a 10% contingency.
- 30 participants: around €300 to €600 for transport, or €11 to €20 per person;
- 60 participants: around €700 to €1,200, still €11 to €20 per person.
These ranges are a guide to a day of group transport; the quote gives the real cost of the trip out to the estate. For Palooza Park, the public price of the adventure pass gives a per-person benchmark, but group rates or private hire are negotiated with the park. To compare these activities with other formats, see our comparison of team building activities in Marrakech.
Which mistakes should you avoid?
Making everyone go up. In any group, some people dislike heights or simply do not want to climb. Always offer a ground activity of equal value, not just a bench to wait on. Our article on building a team building programme that excludes no one gives practical pointers.
Turning up without a booking. Public tickets are sold on site, subject to availability. For a group, book everything in advance.
Underestimating the journey. A coach is slower than a car, and boarding 50 people takes time. If the day starts with a work session in town, the time left at the park shrinks fast.
Sending a large group in one block. Beyond a few dozen people, rotating teams are essential. Our guide to team building for large groups sets out the method. For other mountain formats, see our selection of team building formats in the Atlas (in French).

The estate does not publish prices for corporate groups. The cost depends on the activities, group size and catering, and is quoted on request.
Do you need to be sporty for a ropes course?
No, but you do need to be comfortable with heights and meet the park’s requirements: for the high-ropes courses at Terres d’Amanar, its poster gives a minimum age of 12, 1.45 m and 45 to 110 kg, to be reconfirmed. For everyone else, plan a ground activity such as archery or e-biking.

Yes: Palooza Park, in the city, includes a zip line in its adventure pass. For a nature experience, Terres d’Amanar remains the most complete option.
